Math

Today M  was in a good mood.  We had a late start with our first work page, but she did it.

After that, we had Language Power.  She seemed to be distracted, but she was very interested in the pictures of the plant leaves .   She likes cutting and pasting.

What I noticed after recess.  We came back inside and did Compass Learning

I asked M to log in.. she did.   I asked her to go into Compass learning, and she did.

She chose her work, and this time it was new.  (She has been repeating some of the work lately)

Today I saw her work on a math problem.  Instead of guessing right away to go to the next screen, she added!  And then went on to guessing the next questions.  She got 2 out of 5 correct. 

Next exercise she seemed distracted.  It was adding three numbers.  I wish I could hear the words to the video I can’t tell if she is listening or it ended.  I have noticed that sometimes the video ends, and she sits it out.  Plays with string, until I find out and click “next” for her. 

But I saw her then do the problems.  Just like the demonstration said.  Even though she seemed distracted when the video had played.  I was surprised. J
